Motor Development Lab 2
Spring 2011

Motor Development lab 2 was to observe the motor skills of students at St. Mary’s Elementary School. My task was to describe the motor skill of a young boy and girl while they performed a run, a gallop, and a hop. The results of their performance enabled to me to recognize and critique their motor movements, which will be vital, as a teacher. Being able to describe and apply theory and principles related to skillful movement is important for a physical educator because it is job of the educator to be able to break down, demonstrate and critique the elements of each skill movement.
